Emerie's Smiles 5k Walk/Run Benefit

Dr Cohen and his Staff Present: Emerie's Smiles 5k Walk/Run Benefit

Emerie is the youngest of the four children of Jeffrey and Tina Hale. Her siblings are all patients in our practice and we got to know Emerie when she would come to their appointments with them. She has an angelic smile which captivates everyone who sees her. Except for her little pink helmet, you would never suspect that her parents have taken her to over a hundred doctors all over the country trying to find answers to some very tough questions about her health. After multiple CT scans, MRIs, endoscopies, biopsies and surgeries there is still not a diagnosis of what is wrong with Emerie. Understandably, all of this has taken a toll on the Hale family, not the least of which is financially.

The Hale family is a part of our family of patients and we want to help them in their time of need. Emerie Smiles is the name we have given to our effort. We are thankful for the support of the community, particularly Salsarita’s, Texas Roadhouse and Marble Slab Creamery who are donating 10% of their sales on special days. O’ Charley’s is donating bottled water for the 5K run and Hendersonville Produce is donating fruit.

If you are interested in becoming a corporate sponsor or participating in the race please call Kimberly at 824-8929 for details or go to the website listed below.
