Emerie's Smiles Benefit is Quickly Approaching as well as a few other upcoming events...

I’m a firm believer that prayer has gotten us this far and would ask that you say a special prayer for Emeri tomorrow. Jeff and Tina, and Emerie will be going to the University of Kentucky Medical Center tomorrow for a consult with another Neurologist that she was referred to by the Shriner’s Hospital. Please pray that something comes out of this appointment. As Emerie grows her pain grows so the sooner we can get this all figured out and on a treatment plan other than therapy will be an answered prayer. Also, she saw her cranial surgeon last week who believes we are safe for now on holding off to do the cranial reconstructive surgery. Your brain only grows the first 2 years of your life and Emerie will be 2 in July so unless she has a major growth spurt which she just went thru one then her skull and brain should be okay to wait for the neck problem to be figured out. This will also eliminate multiple surgeries for her.

Saturday, May 2: Motorcycle Run at Green Bank/Al’s Food Value. Information is in the flyer above.

Saturday, May 9th: THE BIG DAY!!! EMERIE’S 5K. The pre-registration cut-off is April 30th but you can register the day of the race as well.

For those who have not had the opportunity to meet Ms. Emerie herself. This picture was taken about 2 weeks ago and plainly shows why we’ve named her Carepage and the benefits “Emerie’s Smiles”!
