So I've decided that my blog titles are going to begin with "Oh so ____". Why you ask? Because I'm single, love life, and I can.
As for my title today...I am oh so excited about Friday night! It looks like there will be about 10 people there! This is something that I see as a ministry and hope to grow each month. I mean what's more fabulous than a bunch of christian women getting together to eat and talk. It's what we do best! Oh and do I mention I BIG PUFFY HEART decorating for parties!!!!
I'm also oh so excited about where my life is going right now. I've known for a while that "I" am ready for my prince charming to come in my life but I finally realized this weekend that I think God is preparing me for what that as well. I used to think about it and then dismiss it but now things are falling into place in my life that make sit and ponder what the future holds. Now if only God will decide to actually put him in my life or maybe I should decide to slow down, look around, and realize that maybe he already has but I'm too distracted to see it! Everyone who knows me I want babies and I really want them lately so again hurry up Prince Charming!!!
Another "Oh so Excited" moment would be the Youth Group. I'm so excited that we have a youth minister in place that I really feel is going to take this group to another level. I can see some changes already and it melts my heart. Those who know me, know that the youth group is where my heart is. I love each of those kids like their my own. I cry when they have rough moments, I laugh at the funny one's, and my heart bust for joy when they do great things no matter how big or small! As they say God is in the small things and I'm definitly seeing small things turn into big things at White House!
Oh and one last thing is Logan McAfee. I jokingly tell Kelly and friends that he is the love of my life because he definitly has me wrapped around everyone of his fingers and toes! He reached for me for the first time a couple of weeks ago and talk about a melt your heart moment, I was a puddle in the floor! I always knew after working with the youth group that I could love any child like they were my own but Logan confirms that. He has made me slow down and enjoy the precious moments in life and I've formed a friendship with Kelly that I know will withstand time and I'm forever grateful to God for that!
I hope you all have an Oh so Exciting day! Until next time...
