That one word is a great thing. It's something that if there is anything I can say the adoption road has taught me then it's that I've learned to be content in everyday life. My desire to plan every detail of my life has washed away and I'm living in the moment.
I'm experiencing the joys of pregnancy pains as I journey down the road that will one day lead to motherhood and I'm content with that. It may be 9 months, it may be 2 years. I'm content with that.
