Lawwdy this weekend was long but short and full of lots of fun with friends and family! Friday night was our monthly cooking club and to say these ladies are great is an understatement! I was able to reconnect with old friends as well as make new friends. What more could you ask for on a Friday night. Plus there was lots of yummy food and drinks mixed in. The only problem was that we had such fun talking and laughing that we lost track of time and it was 12:30 Saturday morning before I made it home and I had to be back up for our Relay for Life Donut Sale at 6:00. The sale was was a success despite the winter temp's and rain that we decided to have at the end of April!
Saturday ended with a Wedding Shower for some of my prior youth group kids, Storm and Keah, BBQ Chicken pizza from Painturo's, and an early bedtime of 7:30! I was exhausted. Sunday of course started with church and the building of the "Towers of Babylon" with Krispy Kreme Donuts (like that creativity, lol) during Children's and lot of Jesus Loves Me without the "me" of course.
Sunday ended with a trip to Opry Mills with Josh, Jessica, Ava, and Logan. Needless to say, Josh and I looked at each at one point and commented that shopping at Opry Mills is definitely different now with babies. Several cute pairs of shoes later for Logan and I and we were headed home. Logan and I did find a way to fill our time this afternoon though... I'll let the silliness speak for itself...
Bring on Monday because that means I only have 4 days till my weekend. It's going to be another busy week and weekend but at least my week will start off at the Apple Store for training with my co-workers!
