So I haven't posted in a while but everything seems to be going crazy in my world and I haven't had time to sit down and blog!
For starters thanks to all those who sent prayers up on behalf of my grandmother and my family this past weekend! It has been one whole year since he left this world suddenly and not a day has gone by that he has not been missed greatly. The past week was pretty gloomy and depressing as would expect and several days I really wondered if my grandmother ever left her room but my family got her out of the house to at least go eat dinner. My uncle decided to put together a Memorial Service that also went well and a lot of good stories were shared. There ended up being about 50 people whom also came to our house for dinner which makes me greatful to live in a large house! Although it was extremly draining emotionally and physically, I'm glad we've moved past another date and hopefully the pain will ease in time!
On to other things, to keep Kelsy ( 9 yr old sister, one of the twins) and Paxton (my 4 year old cousin) busy, Brandi & Jamal invited us to go to Seussical with them on Saturday night. It was a really funny show and great for the kids but a late night. The show started late so it was close to 8:00 pm before it began and it was 10:00 before we left. Though you might think that after a very long day, lots of people, and a late night that a 4 yr old would fall asleep???? Not quite! We were almost to the Conference Drive exit when Paxton declared he would really like krispy Kreme donuts and milk. We struck a bargain, I would let him pick donuts out but he couldn't eat them till breakfast and he could still have milk! Good news for me, it worked!
On Sunday, we went to Opry Mills with Brandi and the girls with the new Graco Double "Cadillac" Stroller! It was quite comical and the thing is so huge and it has these new kind of handles that look like bicycle handles so Brandi and i took turns. After doing lots of shopping and getting lots of exercise from Walking I went home for some much needed R&R!!! Oh and it's funny but not funny but for those who have been to the Carousel and to feed the sting rays you would understand. I was not so crazy about going on b/c it smelled really fishy but Brandi talked me into it and she bought food to feed the sting rays. I'm not scared of much but feeding the sting rays made me see pictures of my hand being sucked off! The first time "I" tried to feed one the fish came up on the side of the wall and terrified Kari Belle so as a result I ended up being the one to feed them which will mark the first and last time I ever intend to feed a sting ray!

The stingrays creep me out too! And pushing a double stroller for very long is MURDER! It does burn enough calories for a Krispy Creme though.
