Emerie went for her cat scan on Wednesday at VCH. She did pretty good, except they did have to give her some oxygen while they had her put to sleep. I was beginning to get worried because she was in there so long. When she woke up in the recovery room they couldn't get her to drink and they told her she couldn't go home until she would drink something(like a 17 month old understands that). So the nurse asked Emerie if she wanted to try a cookie. Her eyes lit up and that was all they had to offer her. She ate two bags of cookies. She is always so cranky after they put her to sleep so I didn't get to do a update when we got home. The doctor that ordered the test is in Lexington so we have not received any calls on the results. It may be a few weeks or months before we hear from him. So far he has not returned any of our phone calls since we have been going to him. We may have to wait unitl our next appointment in Lexington. Emerie's pediatrician may call today and read us the report from the radiologist but she said she can't make any diagnosis because it is out of her expertise. Emerie's neck was very tight when she went to therapy on Thursday and she was in alot of pain. I had to give her pain medicine all day and night. Her neck had reversed back tighter than it was on the last visit and noone can figure out why. She is still very tight this morning and very cranky.
